The magical days of the Rauhnächte, also known as the Twelve Nights are the darkest nights of the year. After the longest day of the year follows the dark and mystical nights, when the veil between the spiritual realms are thinnier than ever.

A profound practice I have found solace in this bitterly cold season is the ritualistic Twelve Nights. Every night brings its own mystique and message. A practice to invite more stillness, rest and reflection to tie ends close and open the threshold of the new year energetically.
