Face Wash

As most of you know, when it comes to my beauty and medical care, I like to take matters into my own hands. I trust my botanical friends and turn to them when in need. Not only when I get sick, but also when it comes to my personal hygiene and beauty rituals. Essential oils can be used in so many ways. Something I love about their practicality for so many situations.

My face wash recipe is super simple and contains only 3 ingredients. Another one of my principles in life - keeping it as minimalist as possible.

Our skin isn't as high maintenance as we think.

All it needs is natural products to support it's rejuvenation process and cellular activity.

What you need is a 50 ml spray bottle out of brown glass, as this will ensure it's freshness for a longer time. I recommend ordering from Oilspiration.ch (non-paid ad), especially if you live in Switzerland. Keeping it local!

About the essential oils in this recipe, Geranium is a floral oil and it's a natural beauty agent. It's an ingredient often used in beauty products as it keeps our hair, skin and nails rejuvenated and glowing. Sandalwood, a woody oil, promotes healthy-looking smooth skin. Both oils reduces the appearance of skin imperfections. Rose water helps clean pores and tone the skin as well as maintain the skin's pH-balance.

Ingredients:

50 ml organic rose water

15 drops of pure geranium oil*

10 drops of pure sandalwood oil*

Instructions:

Fill up the bottle with all the ingredients and start spraying away. Use the spray before washing your face, coming out of the shower or when you feel like freshening up during the day. Store in a dark place.

*Disclaimer:

Please note that I personally use 100% pure therapeutic essential oils and therefore have a guarantee for their quality. Other oils I would use with caution, as you don't know if they're 100% or contain synthetic properties in them. Therefore, please make sure you're using high quality oils before testing this recipe. If you don't know where to get them, read on here and learn more about doTERRA essential oils. Thank you!
