Raw Vegan Brownies

These raw brownies are absolutely to die for. I've loved them since the first day and the love has remained true ever since. If you haven't guessed by now, I'm a chocolate lover - dark bitter chocolate to be exact. And this recipe satisfies my chocolate appetite like no other.

Not only do they satisfies my chocolate craving, but they are also little energy bites and healthy ingredients such as almonds, walnuts, dates and raw cacao.

With few ingredients, it's simple to make and can be stored in the fridge for quite some time without it loosing it's yummy taste and consistency. Finally the long-awaited recipe to my raw vegan brownies, that so many of you asked for, scroll down for the recipe below.



ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups dates, pitted

  • 1 1/2 cup raw walnuts

  • 1 cup raw almonds

  • 3/4 cup raw cacao powder

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt toppings:

  • dark chocolate couverture (Alnatura)

  • sprinkle cacao nibs, chia seeds, dried pomegranate, nuts on over the melted couverture. options are endless


instructions:

Create mixture by adding it all in food processor or mixer (I even use my NutriBullet).

Transfer batter to a pan and pat it down nicely. I’d like to put baking paper under so I can then take it out later and cut it nicely into pieces. Otherwise it might stick to the pan.


Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Then add it on top of the brownies. Add toppings of choice and put it in the freezer for at least half an hour up to an hour. Afterwards once it hardens store it in the fridge.
