This simple recipe is always a big hit in my family. It's super easy to make, absolutely delicious and on top of it a healthy way to get your protein. What better combo could there be!?
We enjoy our roasted chickpeas as a snack in between (sure beats chips) or as a complimentary to our meal or salad. It goes well with about anything in my opinion.
Use Tamari sauce to make this recipe gluten-free. I'm a big fan of turmeric, as it has so many health benefits, one of being a natural pain reliever and antibiotic. Let's not forget to mention how glowing it leaves our skin and hair. Must I say more?
ingredients1 glass of chickpeas from Alnatura (equivalent to 1 can of chickpeas)
2 tbsp Tamari or soy sauce
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp olive oil
Drain the liquid from the chickpeas before adding to the baking sheet. Add the chickpeas on the baking sheet with all the ingredients. Stir around so everything gets nicely mixed together. Turn on the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Bake until it turns into a golden brown. It usually doesn't take longer than 15 minutes.
Keep it stored in the fridge. It's tasty even cold.
