Probably one of the, if not the, most misunderstood astrological signs. Often labeled as jealous, intense and possessive in most descriptions I come across, it is denied the complexity that this sign embodies. The complexity is where the profoundness of Scorpio lives. It does not desire to go deep for the sake of being nosy. It smells intuitively that there is more to the story. The words that are unspoken, the feelings unexplored - it intuits there is just simply more to pull out through its inquisitiveness. Can you blame it? How often we wander through life with emotions untouched and even ignored.

Scorpio as a sign embodies transformation. Their affirmation is "I transform". It is not unusual that Scorpio finds themselves through one transformation after another. Scorpio is often mistaken as a fire sign giving its determined energy. Traditionally, co-ruled by Mars, like the fiery sign of Aries, it is ruled modernally by the dwarf planet of Pluto.
Pluto, being an outer and, therefore, generational planet, encompasses the pain of the collective. This planet darkens the energy of Scorpio making it feel at times heavy. However, it equally equips this sign with resilience, as transformation is a long journey.
