Heading into the transformative energies of not only Scorpio, but the Eclipse season. The Eclipse is working its innate magic. The first Eclipse of this season will happen on the Solar Eclipse and New Moon on Tuesday, 25 October 2022 in Scorpio.
The New Moon symbolizes like the word says it: newness. She breathes newness into our lives, subconscious minds and emotional bodies. Where have you been holding back to initiate? Her darkness in the night sky activates the darkness in our subconscious mind. Our dream world becomes more vivid. The connection to our guides. The need to be more, listen within and slow things down on this day is requested by her disappearance.
Some who feel the subtle energies might be more receptive to the moon’s sensitivity than others. Nevertheless, we all have the opportunity to work with the lunar energies that are playing at large.
The moon rules over nature, the tides in the ocean, even animals live in tune with the lunar ways. For example, bees, owls and oysters all follow the lunar rhythms in the way they live and mate.
Humans consisting of approximately 70% water which is held together in this solid vessel of ours are equally influenced by the moon. Some lunar phases are stronger than others. Although many assume that the energies of the Full Moon are when the moon is at its most intense, in reality, the New Moon has an even stronger pull in our energies emphasizing our subconscious mind.
Scorpio, the Intuitive
On Tuesday, 25 October 2022, we have a New Moon in the sign of Scorpio.
Scorpio is probably the most feared and misunderstood astrological sign. They have a strong sense of seeing through any bullshit. They are like hounds for the truth. Not afraid to peer through the darkness and go to places where others might feel uncomfortable. Making them naturally adept in psychology. Water signs are known to be emotional, intuitive, sensitive and observers.
Scorpio as a sign embodies transformation. Their affirmation is "I transform". It is not unusual that Scorpio finds themselves through one transformation after another. Sometimes not recognizing themselves anymore as they are here to evolve in such an expansive way. They represent the full circle of life - birth, life, death, rebirth, being co-ruled by the planet of karma and transformation itself, Pluto.
In their low expression, they victimize themselves in their emotions and are overwhelmed by their sensitivity. they become overprotective in their space and develop sharp tongues that sting.
In their high expression, they understand that their sensitivity is their biggest gift - to feel life to the furthest extent and make their pain, pleasure into alchemy and know how to channel their sensitivities to make a world a more healed place.
Solar Eclipse
On the Solar Eclipse, the energies of the New Moon are even more amplified than usual. Although the moon remains unseen on the night of the New Moon, her energies are deeply present. The added darkness in the night sky creates space for us to energetically plant those seeds of intentions in our subconscious mind. What are we holding back from? What are we ready to release? What are we ready to call into existence?
Be more, do less, observe life occurrences, sit with the meanings behind them and surrender as much as possible to the process.
Journaling
The exploration of your inner thoughts and emotions without judgment. Putting pen to paper can bring us new insights about how we feel and give us a safe space to reflect on our fears, desires, wounds and insecurities. The desire to dig deeper into our subconscious is a Scorpio trait that makes you feel this lunar cycle stronger than usual. The understanding of the why’s in life and intuitively sensing there is more than what the eye sees.
This Scorpio and Eclipse season I recommend you to keep your journal steadfast with you while we navigate through the sometimes murky waters of Scorpio and Eclipse season. While you observe the occurrences and lessons in your life that desire to be seen, keep a track of what you are going through to receive clarity on the transformation that might be taking place.

During the Eclipse season of spiritual turbulence and maintenance, I recommend you to do a practice that will help soothe your body, mind and spirit. If we are on high alert, feeling triggered and resistant, then we will not be able to receive the deeper insight of the lessons being offered by this transformative season.
The polar opposite of the element of water is Earth, which has the capacity to hold the space for water while it goes through the depth of emotion without going ungrounded.
Connect with Earth and regulate your nervous system this Eclipse Season:
✦ Medicine Movement: Move your body, your hips and dance in a way that feels pleasurable for you.
✦ Shamanic Drumming: Connect with your heartbeat and allow the drum to relax your body by drumming for at least 10-15 minutes.
✦ Breathwork: Connect with your breathe and hold space for your emotions to surface.
✦ Nature Walks: Go for meditative walks in nature, listen to nature's whispers. Be still, listen, and feel. Look out for hidden messages of symbolism.
This Scorpio season, expect spiritual turbulence and maintenance. Know that anything that might trigger you is an invitation to grow. Invite your inner Witch to be revealed and begin to create magic in your everyday life through your spiritual practices.
